Keywords & search rankings
No absolute ranks. Every observation has a context.
Save your keywords
Open Scan settings to edit keywords, then run the audit. Without manually entered keywords, SiteRadar extracts initial phrases from the actual page title and headings. Review these suggestions; they are not keyword-volume research.
Connect SerpApi
Create an account at serpapi.com, obtain an API key, then open Integrations in your workspace. Paste the key into the password field and save it. The key is encrypted at rest and is never returned to the browser. Start another audit to collect results.
What is recorded
Every query records its phrase, country, language, device, provider, timestamp, returned organic results, and matching domain. Average position uses only successful matching observations. “Not in returned results” only refers to the actual observed result depth.
When no provider is connected
Saved keywords still appear. Positions remain unmeasured, with a direct path to connect SerpApi. SiteRadar never fills a rank with invented data. Website, performance, and accessibility checks continue normally.
Provider costs and limits
SerpApi is optional and billed by that provider. A scan with a connected key makes one query per saved keyword. Check your provider credits before starting large keyword lists. API failures are reported as failures rather than “not ranked”.
Search competitors
Competitors are grouped from the domains returned for the same queries. The comparison shows shared-query appearances and average observed result position. It does not invent competitor SEO scores or claim to know why Google ranked a page.
